"Flushing
Training"
Boykin Spaniel is now recognized by the AKC , and able to compete
in AKC Flushing Competitions!!!
Webfoot
Retrievers can do it all. They are equally at home scanning the skies for
Mallards or quartering heavy cover to flush Quail, Chukkas, or Pheasant.

Webfoot Retrievers are taught to be steady to flush and gunshot. They
will remain anchored in their location at the time of the flush and are taught
to mark the fall of the bird, retrieving only after receiving the command. A
Webfooted Retriever is a gentleman’s retriever, honoring the work of other
retrievers or pointers with which it hunts. They will catch a difficult cripple
and deliver it to heel without ruffling a feather. Whether the hunt of the day
is Doves or Quail, Geese or Ducks, Pheasant or Chukkas, Webfoot Retrievers will
do it all. Just one Webfoot Retriever can double the pleasure of your outdoor
experience.

After
a full day’s Upland Training with live birds, we relax in the field, enjoy
freshly cooked wildfowl off the grill, and discuss what we learned from our
retriever’s performances during the day. We also discuss the day’s shooting
success and occasionally focus on our partners shooting ability--- especially if
it was less than admirable.
Some summer fun...The
morning started with a practice session of hunting pheasant and chukkas.
While some of us where hunting others were preparing our lunch, which happened
to be the pheasant and chukkas we were hunting.
The dogs got to have fun too...The
threat of rain, rain, and even pouring rain did not stop us from having fun!
Webfoot Retrievers will train your dog to be rock steady as you see above
and to retrieve and your game bird carefully and
with ease as you see below.
